The boy was quiet, but his eyes were open and curious, even though the maid had told him the baby was only hours old. Eyes that were dark, though Ned knew babies’ eyes changed after birth. The wispy hair on the top of the child’s head was the same dark brown of Lyanna’s, the Stark brown.

Features The Winter Rose by: Joseph M. Martin. The Winter Rose incorporates both traditional carols and newly composed anthems that visit the timeless Christmas story with fresh insight. Through use of music; narration and simple symbolism; the cantata presents the life of Christ from prophecy to passion.

If you're a fan of early Christmas music, this collection is for you. I became a fan of Alfred Deller and the Deller Consort through the "Hark Ye Shepherds" recording years ago. I'm delighted that all 4 of the Deller Consort Christmas recordings are avaliable on CD. The singing is superb, and the selections run from the familair to the esoteric/5(14).
